Hall of Famer Rich Henry Has Passed Away
Richard Mark Henry Sr., 77, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 8:34 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Community Hospital of Staunton, IL. He was born February 23, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, the son of the late Hubert William & Elizabeth “Betty” (Weir) Henry Sr.
Rich was the proprietor of the iconic Henry’s Ra66it Ranch, which was inducted into the Association Hall of Fame on June 9, 2012.

Hall of Famer Joy Henderson Has Passed Away
Joy A. Henderson, 92, of Pontiac, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL.
She was a member of the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame, inducted in 2007. She and her husband ran two mom and pop businesses in the early 1960’s, Archie’s Standard Service in Pontiac and The Hill Top in Cayuga, IL.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, 903 West Custer Ave., Pontiac, Il. 61764. A chapel service will follow at 12:00 pm also at the funeral home. Interment will be held at South Side Cemetery in Pontiac, IL.
