WHAT? ROAD TRIP! A visit to the famous Moonshine Store for burgers, followed by a “big” trip to Casey.

WHEN? Saturday, September 7, 2024 @ 11:00am (meeting at the Moonshine Store), then head to Casey around 12:30.

WHERE? Moonshine Store, 6017 E 300th Rd., Martinsville, IL 62442

COST? Nothing! BUT (there’s always a “but”, right?) – you MUST REGISTER, and everyone is on their own for lunch.

To register, text “Casey” to Shelly Scinto (Vice President, IL Assn of Route 66) @ 708-542-4625. Include your full name and the total number of people who will join you. You are registered only if you receive a reply text message from Shelly. Deadline to register is 7:00 pm on August 30, 2024.

Please note that the Moonshine Store is CASH ONLY and that their grill shuts down promptly at 12:30! If you’re curious about their menu, visit https://www.moonshineillinois.com/menu. Oh, and those burgers use 1/2 pound patties, so be careful when ordering that “Tripple” Cheeseburger!

This will be a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes! Lots of BIG things to see in Casey!
