WHAT? ROAD TRIP! A visit to the famous Moonshine Store for burgers, then a day in Casey, Illinois (Big Things Small Town)!
Looking for a big adventure? Let’s head to Casey, Illinois! Visitors love Casey for the supersized Roadside Attractions, historic downtown, and small town charm.  Not only is this small town home to 12 Guinness World Record holders, but there are a lot of other big attractions in Casey, Illinois as well.

WHEN? Saturday, June 28, 2025 @ 11:00am (meeting at the Moonshine Store), then head to Casey around 12:30.

WHERE? Moonshine Store, 6017 E 300th Rd., Martinsville, IL 62442

COST? Nothing! BUT (there’s always a “but”, right?) – you MUST REGISTER, and everyone is on their own for lunch.

REGISTER? So that we know how many people to anticipate and can bring enough maps, please email either Shelly Scinto (volunteershelly@yahoo.com) or Misty LeBlanc (leblancma7@gmail.com). Include your full name and the total number of people who will join you.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER? 7:00 pm on June 20, 2025

LUNCH @ 11am: We will meet for lunch at the Moonshine Store in Martinsville, IL (just 7 miles from Casey, IL).  Lunch is at your cost.  We will travel on to Casey, IL. at 12:30pm (earlier, if everyone is finished with lunch).  [You will be provided with a map for use in Casey.]

Please note that the Moonshine Store is CASH ONLY and that their grill shuts down promptly at 12:30! If you’re curious about their menu, visit https://www.moonshineillinois.com/menu. Oh, and those burgers use 1/2 pound patties, so be careful when ordering that “Tripple” Cheeseburger!

This will be a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes! Lots of BIG things to see in Casey!
