He’s Walking, Yes Indeed!

Dee from Del Rhea’s Chicken Basket in Willowbrook, Illinois recently told us about a visitor they had to the restaurant. Sunny, a self-proclaimed nomad, adventurer and author, is, well, walking the length of Route 66! The 76 year old gentleman believes it will take him about 167 days make the trip.

Pat Rhea treated the hungry walker to a good home-cooked meal and set him up at the La Quinta Inn overnight.

What have you done along Route 66 lately?
