Cleanup Day at the Museum

The museum, the displays, the Waldmire Road Yacht and more need a sprucing up before tourist season. Over 30,000 people come and visit our displays every year. This of course. causes some wear and tear. A good cleaning is necessary. Lunch will be provided by the Route 66 Association. It is a known fact that, “we work for food.”

It is not necessary but it is helpful if we know how many will be attending. If you can, call and let John Weiss know if you are planning to attend any or all events 815-458-6616.

We need to support our various attractions on Route 66. These sites provide memories that last a lifetime for our visitors from around the world. For us, it is the camaraderie of working and playing together that brings our sense of good will, wellbeing and pride to all of us.
