Bird Walks on Elkhart Hill

The Elkhart Historical Society will host two bird walks on beautiful Elkhart Hill.
Saturday, April 28, 2012
9:00 AM and 1:00 PM
The walks will be led by Rhetta Jack, former ornithologist from the Illinois Natural History Survey. The walks will leave from historic downtown Elkhart on Governor Oglesby Street.

18, 2012 at the Wild Hare Café in Elkhart.

Virgil Davis and Chuck Fricke will present “Lincoln’s Funeral” (enhanced by powerpoint). This is a powerful presentation for those of you who missed the display
in Lincoln a couple of years ago or want to learn more about the authentic artifacts from this tragic period in our history.
