Route 66 Cruise Start: 9:00 am The Chain of Rocks Bridge will be opened up to all vehicles on Sept 26th. We will leave from the Missouri side at about 9am, and head up to Springfield Il. following as much of the Old 66 as we can for the start of the Mother Road Festival. There will be a $5 min donation to Trailnet for opening the bridge. If anyone is interested please contact Jim Foster at tjfoster@madisontelco.com. 2008 Internation Mother Road Festival The 2008 International Mother Road Festival will be September 26th through the 28th on the streets of downtown Springfield. Our Association will be there promoting the Association, selling patches, cookbooks, and t-shirts on the south side of the Old State Capital Plaza between 5th and 6th Street.
