Do You Love A Parade? Sunday, August 31st, at 1 PM in Pontiac is the Thresherman's Parade! Come join other members to walk along with the float the Association will have in this year's parade. Children under 12 must be accompanied by their parents (please) Put on your "66" best! We'll be setting up at 10am, cold pop, water, buns and meat will be provided by the association. Please bring a dish to share. Our chef will be Bill Przybylski. We will have entertainment, games a raffle, and all members and their families are urged to come out and have some fun. | ||

The Chain of Rocks Bridge will be opened up to all vehicles on Sept 26th. We will leave from the Missouri side at about 9am, and head up to Springfield Il. following as much of the Old 66 as we can for the start of the Mother Road Festival. There will be a $5 min donation to Trailnet for opening the bridge. If anyone is interested please contact Jim Foster at tjfoster@madisontelco.com. (all day)

Our Association will be there promoting the Association, selling patches, cookbooks, and t-shirts on the south side of the Old State Capital Plaza between 5th and 6th Street. Stop by and say hello!
