Picnic Wrap
The Route 66 Association of Illinois Annual picnic was held at beautiful Chatauqua Park in Pontiac, IL on Sunday, September 13, 2009. What a great picnic it was! It was great mingling and chatting with our fellow members in such a lovely spot on an absolutely glorious day!

The food was great - and in great abundance too! The menu featured Vienna hot dogs, Maxwell Street Polish sausage and pork chops from the grill. In addition, members generously provided a delicious assortment of side dishes and desserts.

Sizzling pork chops. Yum!
