Young Roadies: You're Never Too Young!

IMG_5775.JPG

The allure of Route 66 is very much about nostalgia and the history of the Road and the people who live and work along it’s colorful miles. Its future, preservation and continuation as an important part of America, however, depend upon future generations learning and becoming excited about the Mother Road and what she holds for them.

That’s why we’ve started a brand new section on our website for those who are, “Never Too Young!” The section will be a place where young roadies can find content that will be of particular interest to them. Of course these same stories will be included within the site for all to read - it’s just that they’ll also be compiled on a page that’s easily accessible to our younger readers.

Click this link or find the tab on our menu at the very top of the page called, “Young Roadies” to go to the page. Please, tell the youngsters in your life - and their parents - about this page. And if a story comes your way that you think young roadies would enjoy, please send it our way through our handy dandy submission form.

This picture was taken during the 2013 Motor Tour. The picturesque covered bridge is located between Chatham and Auburn Illinois. It is a wonderful side trip off route 66.
