More About the Waldmire Bus and Van

A few more details are coming in about the Bob Waldmire bus and van that will soon be on display at our Museum and Hall of Fame located at 110 W. Howard Street in Pontiac, IL.

Bob's converted schoolbus which served as his home is currently on the Waldmire property in Rochester, IL. We are presently trying to arrange for it to be towed to its new home at the museum. The bus will be treated with the utmost care and respect when in our care. It will be parked behind the museum, where it will be enclosed inside a fence with a roof protecting it from the elements.

Bob's VW van will be transported to our museum following its display in Springfield. We expect to take possession of it either the last week of September or the first week of October. The van will be proudly displayed inside the museum itself.
