Last Stop Shop Treasures on Display
In Santa Monica, CA, where the Mother Road meets the sea, there’s a place that celebrates Route 66 called the Last Stop Shop. Owned by Route 66 enthusiast, Mannie Mendelson, the store provides a unique Route 66 experience as well as a fantastic collection of souvenirs to commemorate your journey along all 2480 miles of it.
We recently showed you a treasure of Mannie's from his shop - the Bob Waldmire wall. If that doesn't convince you that he's all about Route 66, nothing will!
Recently, Mannie was kind enough to send us a selection of the merchandise he offers at his Last Stop Shop. We have put the items on display in our Museum and Hall of Fame in Pontiac, IL. We hope you’ll take a look next time you come for a visit. (Remember, our admission is always free to all - we’re the best bargain on Road!)
We would like to thank Mannie for his generosity in sharing some of his merchandise with our Association. Stop by and say, “Hey there, Roadie!” to Manny at his Last Stop Shop in Santa Monica next time you travel to the West end of the Road!
