Help save the Dwight Correctional Center! The local economy depends upon it.

Thanks to Kevin McNamara for the following:

Now that the budget has been approved by the General Assembly, we have to make sure the Governor signs it as submitted and does not line item veto items like funding for Dwight.

If you would, call, email or drop Governor Quinn a note asking him to sign the budget as passed, it would be much appreciated. We can't take anything for granted.

Now that the session is adjourning, I doubt if he will be spending much time in Springfield so I'm giving you the Chicago information.
