Another Successful Motor Tour!

The Route 66 Association of Illinois presents an annual Motor Tour, when we trek along our section of the Mother Road, stopping at attractions along the way. It's a fun, nostalgic and informative journey along Route 66 in the company of other enthusiasts. The tour traditionally kicks off the second Friday of June with a get-together and registration event. Come Saturday morning, we hit the road, officially beginning the tour. Saturday evening, we hold a banquet where we induct the new members to our Hall of Fame. On Sunday morning, we hit the road for the last leg of the tour.

The 2012 Motor Tour was a resounding success, providing entertainment and validation for the importance of preserving Route 66's history and ensuring her future.
