What's a Motor Tour Passport?

A Passport is your complete guide to the attractions featured along our Motor Tour each year. It is a list of the Route 66 attractions and their locations at which our Motor Tour will be stopping. In addition, Passports provide information on numerous Points of Interest along the Mother Road which, while not stops on the tour this year, are nonetheless exciting Route 66 attractions. Your Passport is not only a guide for the Motor Tour but for any trip along Route 66 in Illinois. Each Motor Tour participant is provided with a Passport upon registration to direct and inform them along their journey.

A Motor Tour Passport lists the places of interest where Association members will be awaiting your visit. Like an international travel passport, your passport will be stamped when you arrive at your destination. A passport is a fun way to track your Motor Tour progress as you proceed along Route 66.

If you are a business, we would like to make you aware that advertising is available in our Motor Tour Passports. As we mentioned, every Motor Tour participant will receive a Passport. Your ad will be seen by every Motor Tour participant as they enjoy their travel along the Mother Road, providing exposure for your business to a highly interested group of Route 66 enthusiasts. You need not be an Association member or an Illinois-based business. All you must be is a business dedicated to attracting the attention of Route 66 enthusiasts.

As a bonus, after the Motor Tour, businesses who advertised will receive a Passport, dash plaque and decal, all collectable mementos from this year's Motor Tour in appreciation for your support.
