This Cafe was originally opened from 1934 to the late 1960s in downtown Atlanta, Illinois. The Palm's Grill provided home-cooked meals to locals and Rt. 66 travelers, as well as BINGO and weekly dances.   Note the unique neon sign out front.  The Cafe is housed in the Downey Building along with the Atlanta Museum where you can view local history exhibits including those exhibits that deal with Abraham Lincoln's association with the town. It is scheduled to reopen in 2008.
